We are students from the Youth Media in Jajce program, and here is our story of Brčko and how the diaspora connects with this place we call home.

It is a great honor for us that a representative of i-platform was among the nominees for this year’s “Goran Bubalo” Peace Award. The nomination itself is an important recognition of our collective work and efforts, as well as a confirmation that building trust and connecting the diaspora with local communities is acknowledged as a meaningful contribution to society in BiH.

The Youth Media Connect program in Jajce has officially come to a close, leaving behind not just new skills in media and storytelling, but also unforgettable friendships, lessons, and moments of connection. What started as a week of workshops became a journey of building bridges across cultures and generations.

The Swiss Balkan Design Bridge Summer School concluded with outstanding results, as four international teams presented implementable solutions to local companies, marking not an end but the beginning of sustained collaboration between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland.
