From August 13 to 15, Sarajevo and Zenica became spaces for music, creativity, and stories of belonging. Swiss singer-songwriter of Bosnian heritage LEILA, also known as Leila Šurković, came to Bosnia and Herzegovina for her first performance in front of a Sarajevo audience, while also meeting young artists and connecting with the local cultural scene.

We are proud to announce that Youth Voice: Going Home! has been officially approved and will take place from 30 August to 5 September 2026 in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This marks the closing edition of a five-year bilateral cooperation series between i-dijaspora (Switzerland) and Naša djeca (Bosnia and Herzegovina), bringing the journey full circle — back to the city where it all began.

Aus diesem “Zwischenraum” heraus möchten wir einander stärken und die Vielfalt der bosnischen und ex-jugoslawischen Diaspora sichtbar machen. Wir wollen weiter Brücken bauen zwischen Bosnien-Herzegowina und der Schweiz, voneinander lernen, einander unterstützen und gemeinsam eine bosnisch-schweizerische Kultur mitgestalten.
