i-platform is organising with the support of the organisation Kultur Shock a SevdahLab workshop with Damir Imamovic on Friday, 21st September 2018 starting at 6:00 PM. SevdahLab workshop will, as well as a concert, take place at Zinéma in Lausanne. If you are interested in learning more about sevdah, we invite you to SevdahLab workshop.
SevdahLab is a travelling laboratory of sevdah based on research of Damir Imamović. SevdahLab is an interactive presentation of sevdah, its history and aesthetics. Many parts of the sevdah story will be made public for the first time through SevdahLab sessions. SevdahLab aims not only at those who know of traditional B-H and Balkan music but would like to learn more. It is also open to those who encounter this art form for the first time.
