Previous activities
This was an opportunity to discuss with the participants of the online meeting the ecological and tourist potentials of the municipality, but also the possibilities for opening new factories. Apart from our representatives, the meeting was also attended by the esteemed Mrs. Džeraldina Miličević, who introduced the participants to the work of the City Administration, ie the activities of the Office for Diaspora in Zavidovići, which certainly operates within local authorities.
Furthermore, the participants were addressed by Ms. Ajna Gazibegović, who used the opportunity to acquaint the diaspora from Zavidovići with the work of the Mozaik Foundation, but also to acquaint them with the invitation issued by this foundation. The Mozaik Foundation and partners have provided a fund of 1.2 million BAM in grants for people from the diaspora who want to invest in businesses in municipalities. Indeed, an ideal opportunity for the development of a local community like Zavidovići.
Finally, the CEO of the i-diaspora, Mr. Nikola Burić, addressed the audience and introduced the participants to our activities. Together, they came to the conclusion that the i-diaspora is indeed a mediator and generator of change.
Future plans
After that, it was time to talk about future plans that we will work on together. One of the plans is to open a factory that will deal with the production of organic food, and which will be mostly supported by investors from Zavidovići. In this regard, the audience was addressed by Mr. Haris Hujdur, who presented the web shop, which should be an integral part of the company. Also, Mr. Edin Gudić took the floor, presenting his vision of the establishment and operation of this company. However, an investment meeting should be held soon, after which more details will be known.
We should also add that the plan is to hold branding and digital marketing courses, which should be led by Safet Kubat and Haris Hujdur, and will be intended for women entrepreneurs from Zavidovići.
