Gender Center - Center for Equality and Gender Equality of Republika Srpska in cooperation with "i-diaspora - Diaspora for Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina" and the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska, is implementing a project called "Creative thinking to women's entrepreneurship."

In order to support the development of women's entrepreneurship in Republika Srpska and achieve the goals of the Gender Action Plan BiH 2018-2022, the Strategy for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Republika Srpska 2019-2023, and recognizing the importance of women's entrepreneurship in promoting gender equality, Gender Center - Center for Equality and Gender Equality of the Republika Srpska in cooperation with "i-diaspora - Diaspora for the Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina", and the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republika Srpska, is implementing a project entitled "Creative thinking to women's entrepreneurship."

The project aims to empower and prepare women with an entrepreneurial spirit to develop and start their own businesses through learning and applying innovative methods of developing entrepreneurial ideas - "Design Thinking".

As part of the project, in the period from May 30 to June 2, a free training is being realized in Banja Luka for 30 women who want to engage in entrepreneurship, and who were selected from more than 70 applications received through a public competition.

During the training, participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the method of "Design Thinking" and entrepreneurial tools, and with the interactive work and support of international trainers in this field, apply the acquired knowledge and skills in developing their own business ideas.

In addition to Nikola Burić, Executive Director of the i-diaspora and Dalida Karabdić, a representative of the i-diaspora, in Banja Luka, on behalf of the i-diaspora, there is also Nermin Zejnilović, who provides support at trainings.
This method has proven to be a great way to generate business ideas, create innovative products and services, and, in general, to solve business problems. It is especially present in the developed countries of the world, while in the Republika Srpska, ie in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it can very rarely be found in practice.
After the training, all participants will have the opportunity to apply for a grant, which will be awarded for the three best ideas. In addition to financial support, the awarded women will be provided with quarterly mentoring support in order to provide full support at the very beginning of their business journey.
In addition to these donors, support is provided by the EFSE Entrepreneurship Academy and the Microcredit Foundation MI-BOSPO.
