Public call for applications for participation in the training "Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship"
Recognizing the importance of women's entrepreneurship in the process of promoting gender equality, a public call for participation in the training "Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship" was announced. The project aims to strengthen and prepare women with an entrepreneurial spirit to develop and start their own business.
About the training "Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship"
The project envisages the realization of a free four-day training during which participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the method of "Design Thinking" and entrepreneurial tools, and with interactive work and support of international trainers in this field, apply acquired knowledge and skills in developing their own business. Also, trainees will have the opportunity to hear the experiences of successful and accomplished entrepreneurs, who will talk about their path to success.
The most important aspects of the training are given below:
- Introduction to a new and different approach to work, and the way of working;
- Developing a business idea in a creative way with the "Design Thinking" method in a team (working in a group with other participants whose business ideas are from the same areas, such as information technology, marketing, tourism, beauty and health and others, and working on example hypothetical business ideas);
- Application of acquired knowledge and skills on own business idea;
- Application of presented tools of entrepreneurship, drafting a business plan for the realization of your own business idea, preparation and development of sales presentation;
- Motivational and inspirational stories of successful women entrepreneurs.
Participants will have the opportunity in the second phase of the project to apply for grants to realize a business idea and start their own business. Candidates who will be selected for the grant will also be provided with mentoring support in establishing and developing their own business.
The training of candidates will be held in Banja Luka, in the period 30.05.2022 - 02.06.2022.
Conditions and deadline for application
All adult women residing in the Republic of Srpska, who have a business idea and a basic level of English language proficiency, as well as readiness and commitment to work on its development and concretization in cooperation with trainers and other trainees, can apply to participate in the training.

The deadline for submitting the application is May 5, 2022.
Applications received within the specified deadline at the specified e-mail address will be considered. Late applications will not be considered.
Selection procedure
The procedure for selecting registered candidates for participation in the training will be carried out in accordance with the application conditions set out in the previous section, and selected candidates will be informed in a timely manner, via contact information, about the results of the public call and all other information related to training. .
