First meeting
Already at the first meeting, last Wednesday, a group of cheerful, interested, hard-working people gathered whose profiles and communication confirm that biodiversity is the most desirable possible variant of life on Earth. How an artist from Sarajevo, an educator from Belgrade, a lawyer from Bjelovar, a psychologist from Surdulica, farmers from Gornji Milanovac, Markovo potok near Zaječar, a tourism expert and an economist from Rijeka saw it and what they were doing. It was an exciting experience during which contacts were exchanged. and some information about what sustainability means, when an old, earthen house is adapted for winter, why people move out of cities and start working on estates, whether that work is difficult and what are the advantages and disadvantages of such a way of life, which plants and animals are grown and in what way…
Principles of permaculture
The sequel follows, and the organizers once again say that the spread of permaculture and networking of its theorists and practitioners is extremely important in a time of global crisis in which we are currently. The importance of such action is reflected in the use of collective intelligence in order to solve social, economic and environmental problems in local communities, guided by the ethical principles of permaculture: care for people, care for the land and equitable distribution of surplus.
