The event was realized on three tracks, length 2, 10 and 20 kilometers, and the best competitors on all three tracks, in the men's and women's categories, were announced.
"Thanks to the huge support of the Armed Forces of BiH, the City of Zenica, Mountaineering Association 'Azimuth-135', Ze-072-TK, Rijeke BiH 'Be change' and i-platform, the event went well. Most importantly, none of the nearly 170 the participant was not injured. The gold sponsor was 'Commander Mark and the Ontario Wolves', an anonymous donor who recognized the value of this project. People were quite satisfied with the fact that such activities are being implemented in Zenica. What makes me especially happy is the fact that, behind the competitors, there is minimal garbage and zero plastic left, which, consciously, we did not even use, "said Elma Kablar, president of the Modern Escape Europe Association.
Numerous activities
In addition to this event, which was attended by people from as many as 12 countries, this weekend will be remembered for numerous other activities that took place on Saturday, the day before the race. Namely, a cleaning action was organized in which activists collected over 70 bags of garbage. But, although tired, about 40 activists continued to focus their efforts on planting actions, which resulted in the planting of wild cherries, wild apples and white pine. About 500 seedlings were planted that day.
Nakon sadnje, događaj se preselio na izložbu fotografija kod partizanskog spomenika, te su posjetioci uživali u ljepotama bh. rijeka, a tom prilikom mogli su čuti i podrobnije informacije o djelovanju i-platforme, od našeg predstavnika Safeta Kubata.
On the same day, a tourist tour of Smetovi was organized, thanks to Afan Abazović and the Association "Azimuth-135", as well as a bicycle race from the center of Zenica to Smetovi. In the end, an origami workshop was organized for the youngest visitors, and the children were, as it should be, delighted with appropriate gifts.
This event, in addition to the already mentioned persons, institutions and organizations, was supported by the GSS, Civil Protection of Zenica-Doboj Canton, scouts, the company Cengiz, and the Foundation "Circle of Life Kruscica".
The i-platform will unconditionally support such events in the future, and, together with others, send messages that we want clean air and a clean place to live!
