CURE Foundation marks the thirteenth year of the festival of women’s arts and activism PitchWise, which starts on the 13th of September 2018, and lasts until the 16th of September 2018 in Sarajevo. Central topic of the thirteenth PitchWise festival is: WITCHES’ BALL”FAIRY TALES AND FOLK SONGS“– Deconstruction of patriarchal norms.
The i-dijaspora team and its partners are preparing Bosnia and Herzegovina's performance as a guest country at this year's Swiss Travel Day in Zurich (25.10.18), aiming to demonstrate BiH's huge potential as a tourism destination. The third annual "Reconnect" event that aims at networking between business diaspora and suppliers from Bosnia and Herzegovina was opened tonight at Sarajevo Vijećnica. It was organised by BAFA-Restart in partnership with the USAID 'Diaspora Invest' project.
After less than two years since the first Forum of the BiH diaspora in Switzerland took place in November 2016 in Berne, and the launch of the i-platform by i-dijaspora, we proudly announce that we have crossed the imaginary threshold of 100 members of our network of partner institutions, organisations and individuals.
Sarajevo Film Festival generated $30,8m for local economy and has a positive effect on international perception of Bosnia and Herzegovina
An independent study on economic, cultural and social impact of Sarajevo Film Festival, conducted by Olsberg SPI, showed that the festival generated $30,8m income for the local economy, and jobs for 1.385 workers.
RECONNECT2018 at Vijećnica - for entrepreneurs from BiH and the diaspora
For the third year in a row, Restart.ba - the business embassy for the BiH diaspora is organizing a networking event to connect entrepreneurs from the diaspora and BiH. The event Reconnect.ba focusses on connecting companies and professionals from the sectors ITES and Manufacturing.
