Useful information from the Embassy of BiH in Bern regarding the upcoming elections in BiH

The Embassy of BiH in Bern is actively preparing for the elections in BiH. In order to conduct the process of registration of BiH citizens with the right to vote, and the voting itself, the Embassy of BiH in Bern, in accordance with legal competencies, is open for cooperation with all registered institutions, associations of BiH citizens in the Swiss Confederation and Liechtenstein, as well as in BiH.

The submission of applications for BiH citizens, who vote outside BiH, is possible until July 19, 2022.

Instructions for application can be found at this link, and you can apply via the eizbori.izbori.ba portal, or via fax from the Central Election Commission.

It is important to note that voting can also take place on election day, ie October 2 in the building of the Embassy of BiH in Bern, and the other option is voting by mail.

Having in mind the importance of registration and voting of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who currently live outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Embassy hopes that every citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina who currently lives in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, and has the right to vote, will vote in October.

Also, the Embassy sends a request to all Bosnians and Herzegovinians to, in accordance with the possibilities, inform friends, acquaintances, or members of organizations / institutions / associations / missions / associations of citizens of BiH about this information, which refers to BiH citizens with the right to vote in BiH.
