Bright future for i-dijaspora

After a long period spent in preparation and additional consultations came the moment of concluding and signing the Agreement between the Association of i-dijaspora / Diaspora for Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Swiss Confederation represented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - SDC. The contract was signed for the period until 2023 and our successful story continued.

CRVENA: Module 4 - Art and Feminism 20.08.-22.08.2020.

In September 2019, the Association for Culture and Art Crvena launched an educational program called "Politics of everyday life", dedicated to a critical, feminist, theoretical and practical examination of the challenges of modern society and everyday life. The program consists of four related modules: City and Nature; Work and Rest; Women and society; Art and feminism.

First BiH Art Forum as inspiration and encouragement for young artists

Founders of the First Art Forum are Bahrudin Srebrenica, a director from Sweden, born in Zenica, and Mirela Kulović, a painter from Boston, born in Tuzla. The idea flow out from the personal need of two artists, working in the Diaspora, to get acquainted with the cultural and artistic scene in BiH.

BorderPass 2019 - documentary film workshop 2019

In 2019, the Swiss Youth Film Festival together with the film festivals Dokufest (Kosovo), Pravo Ljudski (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and KREF (Serbia) carried out the BorderPass project for the second time. In July 2019, 15 young people - aged 15-19 - from Switzerland, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina attended a documentary film workshop in Sarajevo and produced five short films on the topic of "Memory of Spaces" during a labour-intensive week.

First of the many Swiss citizens to write and share their experience is Aleksandra Hiltmann, journalist, living in Zurich, volunteered many years actively for the peace network Service Civil International (SCI) in Switzerland and the Balkans, Board Member of the NGO Gaia Kosovo.
