i-dijaspora members managed to secure and provide New Year Eve’s gifts for children with disabilities together with the help of people from Kladanj that now live in diaspora, as well as humanitarian aid packages with the help of the Danish organization “Most Bro”.

In addition to that, we also supported the event that took place on December 25 in the headquarters of the Women’s Association “Žena-ženi” Kladanj. On this event, New Year Eve’s gifts were given out to preschool children, first-grade pupils, and children with disabilities. 

The event served as an opportunity for i-diaspora members to start “Humani kutak” (The Corner of Kindheartedness) where people can leave and get for free warm winter clothes.

Advent in Kladanj was held in two different phases. First, at 10 a.m. the bazaar was placed before “Gradska kafana” that is located on the promenade near the river Drinjača. At 1 p.m., we started to interact and converse with our fellow citizens and children.

Radio Kladanj broadcasted the interview with our representative Dalida Karabdić on December 27, and our show “Ritam grada” (Rhythm of the City) was broadcasted on December 28 at 10:20 a.m. and then rebroadcasted at 7 p.m. on that same day.

We are very proud that we were able to organize events and activities that encourage inclusion in the town and municipality of Kladanj, and we are looking forward to implementing many other planned projects and initiatives that will strive to promote the same values.

 We are happy that this year we shared beautiful moments together with all the people of Kladanj, and we believe that, to our mutual satisfaction, it will remain so next year.
