A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Municipality of Zavidovići
This makes Zavidovići Municipality the fifth municipality in BiH to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the i-diaspora.
On behalf of the Municipality, the Memorandum was signed by the Mayor, Mr. Hašim Mujanović, who, on this occasion, said that he hoped that the signed Memorandum would contribute to improving and strengthening ties and good cooperation between the Municipality of Zavidovici and the Diaspora.
The meeting of the representatives of the i-diaspora and the mentioned Municipality also served to arrange the first "Zavidovići Meetup" which should take place at the end of August. In addition, special attention will be paid in the future to topics such as eco-tourism, infrastructure issues and other issues that are of great importance for both the local population and the Zavidovići diaspora. Along with the planned mapping of the Zavidovići diaspora, mutual cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland will be strengthened, but also joint activities will be promoted.
Mayor Dr. sci. Hašim Mujanović expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the Memorandum, and on this occasion said: "Diaspora is more than a resource, it is our obligation, and we are hers."
