Meet the eleven-year-old Ruža from BiH, who lives in Switzerland

The children's program, which is broadcast on Swiss radio and television, regularly reports on children living in Switzerland from other parts of the world through the video series "Mini zwei Dihei".

This time it was about an eleven-year-old girl Ruža whose roots are connected with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. As she says, she loves the hospitality and simplicity of “our people” and their lives. She emphasizes her great love for animals that her grandfather normally takes care of, and states that she would like to become a teacher or a doctor in the future. Through the video, Ruža introduces the Swiss to traditional Bosnian culinary specialties (pie), music and musical instruments.

The aim of this project is to acquaint the audience and the wider masses with the differences that are Swiss everyday life, but also to encourage children to love and cultivate pride in their second home.

The series was shown on Swiss National Television, and now you too have the opportunity to see and listen to Ruža’s story.

Enjoy!
