La Terra Nostra Foundation - a strategic partner of the i-diaspora

One of the main goals of the i-diaspora / i-platform is to network and connect individuals, companies or institutions with competent potential friends and partners, and one of the currently most important and loyal strategic partners of the i-platform is certainly the La Terra Nostra Foundation. A member of the Managing Board of the mentioned Foundation, respected Mr. Edo Sabanagic, tirelessly, through volunteer work, spreads positive vibes regarding the perspective in Bosnia and Herzegovina, unites the peoples of former Yugoslavia, but also promotes the work of the i-platform.

But the common aspiration for the success of the project called "5 Million Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina" is what primarily gathered us around the same table.

About the La Terra Nostra Foundation

Representatives and volunteers of the La Terra Nostra Foundation encourage positive actions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also its path to a brighter future by educating the young generations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also reminding them who they are and where they come from.

It is an organization with the Board as the only body, in which enthusiasts operate without any compensation. Board members selflessly advocate for the Foundation and its goals, investing their own time and money. All funds raised, flow directly into the programs and reach the goal, without intermediaries.

Management Board President of this foundation is esteemed Mrs. Alma Palo - Aličehić, who together with the members of the Managing board (Mrs. Nerma Prohić - Arslanagić, Mr. Tarik Kapić - also the President of the Board of i-diaspora, Mr. Edo Šabanagić and Mr. Adnan Behmen ), unstoppably pursues the set humanitarian goals. But their work would certainly not have been nearly as successful without the effort and work of the volunteers gathered around La Terra Nostra.

Young people, regardless of any form of affiliation, are unreservedly motivated, individuals and organizations network with others in order to achieve better economic and social results, but primarily, indirectly, children and young people are educated and guided in unity and love. Also, in addition to education, a special segment of the Foundation's activities is focused on engaging in emergency situations such as natural disasters as well as providing assistance to health care institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

All these representatives and volunteers of the Foundation believe that Bosnia and Herzegovina is, above all, a country of good people, which is why they promote the following values:

  1. mutual understanding and cooperation for the good of all,
  2. preservation of the identity of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
  3. state building,
  4. environmental awareness,
  5. building a brighter future together,
  6. affirmation of diversity,
  7. young Bosnians and Herzegovinians - "our future, but also our responsibility",
  8. promoting innovation,
  9. building a better society on our own,
  10. education - the path of progress,
  11. Bosnians and Herzegovinians - "our treasure",
  12. responsible work, business and management.

According to Ms. Palo - Aličehić, since the founding of the Foundation, numerous projects have been implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and some of them are free six-month stay of children in Mostar kindergarten, then launching SOS Family Center in Srebrenica, providing support to the Summer School in Stolac, support for women leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina, scholarships for many young people from Srebrenica, occasional assistance to Bosnian artists etc.

It is important to emphasize that the funds for these projects were provided through charity dinners, which were attended equally by Bosnians and Herzegovinians, but also by the Swiss, and some projects were financed by the personal funds of the couple Aličehić.

The La Terra Nostra Foundation certainly plans to carry out its mission in the future, and to expand the list of realized projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina day by day.
