It is a great honor for us that a representative of i-platform was among the nominees for this year’s “Goran Bubalo” Peace Award. The nomination itself is an important recognition of our collective work and efforts, as well as a confirmation that building trust and connecting the diaspora with local communities is acknowledged as a meaningful contribution to society in BiH.
This year’s award was presented to Denis Džidić, director of the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in BiH (BIRN), for his long-standing work in investigative journalism and his contribution to media freedom, while a special recognition was awarded to the association Pomozi.ba for their continuous humanitarian work.
We congratulate the award recipients and thank the Network for Building Peace for the opportunity to be part of this process, as the nomination further encourages us and confirms that we are on the right path in pursuing our mission.
