So, on August 21 at 8 am we start with the action "Let's clean the city in one day". For a start, we plan to clean the most endangered urban and suburban areas, so we plan to clean city streets and settlements, river banks, streams and neighborhoods, parks, parts of highways and regional roads, and numerous villages.
The mentioned works should be completed by 1 PM, after which the collected waste will be disposed of at the regional landfill Mošćanica, for which the Service for Ecology, Communal Affairs and Local Communities of the City of Zenica is responsible.
In the afternoon, we will focus on cleaning and arranging the famous Zenica resort Smetovi, and on that occasion we will attend the opening ceremony of the fountain. Then we plan to put up warning boards and boards with creative messages, and organize appropriate socializing with the people of Zenica and the Zenica diaspora. We will certainly spice up the gathering by awarding recognitions to donors who, through the wemakeit platform, supported the crowdfunding campaign, but also by a futsal tournament. This will be an ideal opportunity to organize a live "Zenica Meetup" for the first time.
Over 600 volunteers and activists will take part in the all-day cleaning activities in Zenica, with the direct participation of the Zenica diaspora.
This will be a unique event in Bosnia and Herzegovina realized by members of the group "Rivers of Bosnia and Herzegovina - be a change" with the co-organization of the i-diaspora, which is why many media representatives announced their arrival on the spot.
