What we have done so far?
Dalida Karabdić, a member of the i-platform and an active citizen of this town, presented to the participants the results of joint activities so far, with special emphasis on the successfully finalized donor campaign which raised funds for the reconstruction of central heating in the only Kladanj kindergarten "Edina Čamdžić". That resulted in a salvo of positive reactions from our expatriates, but also encouraged us all to think about our jointactions in future.
However, thanks to donations through the wemakeit site, additional funds were collected, and all of them will be spent on other needs of this kindergarten. Those who are directly related to this institution will have the last word on that.
One of them is certainly Dalida Salihović, the acting Manager of the kindergarten who also attended last night’s online event and thanked all those who in any way contributed to the positive epilogue of this activity.
"By taking over the function of acting Manager of the kindergarten, I hoped that the pressing problems of this institution would really be solved, and the problems of central heating as well as external woodwork and carpentry were a priority. However, it is the heating sanation that makes me especially happy because it represents our joint action and is the story of all of us. You have provided children and employees with truly worthy human conditions. Thanks to you, we enjoy the beautiful, and above all the warm ambience ", says Salihović.
Future activities
One of the results of the previous Kladanj Meet Up is certainly the formation of working groups, within which, each in accordance with their pretensions, works on the implementation of planned projects. Some working groups are certainly already very active, and also the activities of the Kladanj Association "Žena - ženi" were discussed.
This non-profit Association provides support to women suffering from breast cancer and other serious diseases, but also produces domestic products, and the goal of our diaspora is to help market their products. But, in addition to that, the plan is to adapt their space, equip the necessary machines, etc., which would ultimately, we hope, strengthen the Association and promote the Municipality.
Also, the Kladanj diaspora is discussing the launch of the "Street Basket" project in the downtown, and all these plans are wholeheartedly supported by the Mayor Jusuf Čavkunović.
At the very end of last night's gathering, Mr. Bahro Suljić addressed us in front of Radio Kladanj. We really need radio support, and with Mr. Suljić, it is obviously guaranteed.
The commitment of all of us will condition the realization of the planned. However, everything we have seen so far confirms that we really have real friends in our team, above all, local patriots who will, in accordance with their capabilities, contribute to the further development of this municipality.
