The first official Bijeljina Live Meetup was held on Sunday, December 26. It started at 2 pm, and lasted for two hours in total. The meeting was attended by nine participants, along with the representatives of the local government and representatives of the youth association "Vizija mladih" (Youth Vision), and was a great networking opportunity. The theme of the meeting was the event "Diaspora Days 2022" with multiple proposals and ideas for the realization of this activity being presented to the gathered assembly.
It was decided that the event would be organized as a part of the manifestation "Pantelinski dani" (Days of Pantelin) in August and that it would last for four days. At the meeting, it was also proposed that one of the future initiatives would be educational workshops on personal and professional development designed for the citizens of Bijeljina, but also the people of Bijeljina that now live in diaspora.
Furthermore, it has been suggested that an employment and investment fair would be organized as part of the "Diaspora Day", which will be preceded by training sessions that are required for workers and companies from Bijeljina. And that's not all! In addition to the educational program, the event will also include a recreational segment that will include sports activities, dancing and acting, as well as sports, dance, and acting workshops.
We are proud that our Meetup was joined by people that shared their ideas and helped contribute to planning and designing activities that will enrich everyday life in Bijeljina in the following year.
