Bijeljina Meet Up

Excellent discussion and promising ideas marked the first "Bijeljina Meet Up"

To the satisfaction of the representatives of the i-platform, the representatives of the City of Bijeljina, led by the Mayor Ljubiša Petrović and the representatives of "Click Hub", the first "Bijeljina Meet Up" was organized on March 31st this year.

At the very beginning of this virtual meeting, Mr. Petrović addressed the gathered, who expressed his satisfaction with the previously signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the i-platform, as well as with the organized meet-up.

"This is an ideal way to connect people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and our citizens in the diaspora. Through relaxed communication, we will improve our city and the local community itself. Listening to good ideas, involving all those people who want to see the prosperity of the city and opening new chapters, we are moving forward. We invite all our citizens in the diaspora who are willing to present business ideas, and we certainly want to hear them, to join such gatherings in order to make our city and our country their market, "said, among other things, the Mayor of Bijeljina.

In addition to the representatives of the City, the meeting was attended by the esteemed Mrs. Ana Judi, a representative of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, from the Sector for Emigration, who introduced the participants to the work of the Ministry. She added that the practice so far has shown that the largest number of foreign investments is realized in the cities where the investors themselves originate, thus emphasizing the strong connection between BiH emigrants with the local community.

At the same time, the participants of the first "Bijeljina Meet Up" were addressed by the CEO of the i-platform, Mr. Nikola Burić, who introduced the participants in more detail to our work, but also to the results achieved so far in many local communities, thanks to the strong engagement of our emigrants.

In the end, the young people who attended this meeting, and who are originally from Bijeljina, put forward many promising ideas that, we hope, through the joint work of all of us, will be realized in the near future.
