Working Groups

Active Participation in Working Groups

Given the fact that i-platform is supposed to become an inter-sector centre for information and exchange, working groups within i-platform focus on the development of important thematic areas:

  • economic development support;
  • know-how transfer in sector of education and science;
  • cultural exchange and social inclusion.

By actively participating in the work of working groups, interested individuals can become part of the platform and can help achieve strategic goals of the platform through their work and engagement.

The key purpose of working groups is to involve interested and motivated individuals from the B&H diaspora in Switzerland, who possess important know-how, skills, experiences and contacts in the field of economy, culture, science and education, in the work of i-platform.

Members of working groups have the possibility to jointly develop ideas, initiatives or projects that are in compliance with and contribute to goals of i-platform, and thus also to the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The implementation and further development of such ideas can happen outside or within the platform. Working groups have an advisory and development function and the number of their members is not limited. Depending on the needs and dynamics, expert group meetings are held 2 to 5 times per year.
Representatives of the association i-diaspora participating in the work of working groups are desk office members, who are also in charge of the logistics and technical coordination and communication, as well as at least one representative of the Steering Board.
