Youth from the Balkans and Switzerland will gather in March

i-diaspora in cooperation with the South East European Youth Network and the Collaboration Helvetica is organizing a mobility program in the period from 22nd to 29th March 2022.

Young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Albania will work together to create a vision of the region in relation to the 2030 Agenda, develop a regional innovation program to achieve that vision, participate in the first phase of the Collaboration Balkanica on the principle of co-design. This youth exchange will take place in the period from 22-29th March 2022 in Switzerland.

During the five-day program, young people will share experiences with colleagues from the Balkans and Switzerland with the aim of creating innovative solutions to societal challenges, and we look forward to seeing the creative results that will result from working together.


ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS:

i-platform / i-diaspora aims to support and encourage the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the integration of BiH. diaspora in Switzerland, gathering and exchanging information, connecting actors from both countries, creating synergies, encouraging and promoting initiatives that give or can contribute to the development of social, economic and cultural processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In doing so, the i-platform does everything to build bridges between people, professions and common interests between Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The South East European Youth Network (SEEYN) is a formal regional peace network of CSOs based in Sarajevo. It is home to 19 relevant member organizations from 12 South East European countries, more than 300 youth professionals, youth workers and youth activists, as well as more than 2,400 active volunteers. SEEYN aims to empower CSOs and young people in the SEE region to engage in peace and reconciliation, community development, economic empowerment and solidarity programs through capacity building, advocacy, social innovation development and cooperation.
