Environmental protection - the topic of the fourth "Zenica Meet Up"

Tuesday, 25 May, 2021 - 19:00 to 20:30
Usually, the last Tuesday of the month is reserved for socializing with the people of Zenica, as part of the i-platform project "Zenica Meet Up". We are organizing this gathering, as well as all previous ones, in cooperation with the City Administration of Zenica.

Continuous work and commitment, and representatives of the i-platform, but also our friends, representatives of the City Administration of Zenica, resulted in the expression of interest of new participants to attend this, the fourth in a row, "Zenica Meet Up". Although we have talked in previous meetings about topics that correlate with the IT industry, this time we will talk about environmental protection. The fact that Zenica has been fighting pollution for decades, primarily air, and then rivers and water, and that in our country there is a daily struggle with the construction of facilities that endanger the environment, this topic, in part, imposed itself.

Activist and leader of the group "Rivers of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Be a change", Safet Kubat, then activist and president of the Board of the Association "Eco Forum Zenica", Samir Lemeš, and a representative of the Department of Ecology, Communal Affairs and Local Community of Zenica will meet participants with this topic.

The meeting will be held online, via the Zoom platform on May 25 at 7 PM, and we will forward the access link to you later. All members of the diaspora, originally from Zenica, are more than welcome.

Future participants are asked to feel free to contact the representative of the City Administration of Zenica, Ms. Masa Skrbic via e-mail masa.skrbic [at] zenica.ba, and the representative of the i-platform, Mr. Aldin Vrskic via e-mail aldin.vrskic [at] idijaspora.ch .

Applications, which will include your name and an indication that you are interested in this event, you can send to e-mail: info [at] idijaspora.ch or to event [at] idijaspora.ch.
