Education and training of younger generations on the topic of the fourth "Bijeljina Meetup"
Thematic Meetup
Aware that the world rests on young people, but also the importance of investing in education and the education of younger generations, once again the focus of "Bijeljina Meetup" will be training, education and exchange of experiences with promising young people.
Thus, together, we will pay special attention to primary school children who need education, among other things, on the topic of environmental protection, while we will introduce those slightly older students to the currently most promising industry - information technology, but we will also enable them to master mathematics tasks, and prepare the best mathematicians for future competitions.
Also, young people will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of digital marketing, photography and graphic design.
We will talk about all the above, but also about the exact dates of the trainings, which will be conducted in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and the "Filip Visnjic" High School, as well as activists fighting for environmental protection, at the upcoming online meeting of the Bijeljina diaspora.
About the project
The online meetings of the representatives of the i-diaspora, who are the idea creators of the project itself, and the Bosnian diaspora started more than 10 months ago, with the realization of the first "Kladanj Meetup". Seeing how much our diaspora readily accepted to be part of this project, we decided to implement the project in other cities, so so far we have held a large number of them in Živinice, Zenica, Bijeljina and the already mentioned Kladanj, and soon we expect the first "Zavidovići Meetup".
We use these monthly online meetings to map the diaspora in European and world countries, to jointly implement numerous projects that are important to local communities, to introduce younger "diaspora" generations to their homeland, history, culture and current situation, and to socialize in general.
So far, with the help of our emigrants, we have implemented a large number of projects, and some of the most significant are the rehabilitation of central heating in the kindergarten in Kladanj, we have invested in sports and sports activities in bh. cities, we promoted literature, influenced the environmental awareness of older and younger citizens, connected local government representatives with individuals who want to invest knowledge and money in their hometown and much more.
And we certainly don't stop there. We will continue to carry out this activity in the hope that, with the help of our diaspora, representatives of the City Administrations, as well as our friends from the pangea network, we will return the necessary perspective to our homeland.
Multi-month cooperation with local governments and the pangea network from Germany
From the very beginning, we found the selfless support of the representatives of the local authorities of these cities and municipalities, which ultimately resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with all these actors.
However, in addition to local authorities, i-diaspora projects, and our ideas and visions have been supported from the very beginning by the pangea network from Germany, for which we are especially grateful. So far, we have jointly prepared and implemented numerous projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, connected the diaspora from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, organized online events in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH and with the help of other diaspora organizations, regularly participated in monthly meetings "Diaspora Online Cheeck-in", provided support to our diaspora, etc.
It is important to note that the mentioned organization acts as a network and with the established cooperation with the i-diaspora directly connects several hundred people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The importance of continuing the networking of the Bosnian diaspora from all parts of the world is one of the joint projects launched at the initiative of these two networks and other organizations that bring together our people under the auspices and support of the BiH Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees.
